Michael Strahan Joins Fox Sports

Former New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan has joined Fox Sports as an analyst, where he  will be part of the “Fox NFL Sunday” team that also includes Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson, and show host Curt Menefee.

Strahan spent 15 years in the NFL, and holds the NFL’s single-season sack record. He announced his retirement June 9.

Fox Sports chairman David Hill and Fox Sports president and executive producer Ed Goren made the formal announcement today (June 23), but news had leaked out a day earlier.

Fox Sports, according to sources, outbid CBS Sports for Strahan
