Each new season of Fox’s real-time drama 24 has been accompanied by the introduction of new characters. And season eight—premiering Sunday, Jan. 17, and Monday, Jan. 18—is no different.
Among the freshman cast members is Katee Sackhoff, who is perhaps best known for playing Viper pilot Kara Thrace (or Starbuck) on Syfy’s critically acclaimed series remake of Battlestar Galactica.
Mediaweek correspondent Alan Frutkin spoke with Sackhoff on the set of 24 about her role on the series, joining a show in its eight season and her love of action.
