As ABC did with Lost, NBC is hoping its big, sprawling, serialized new series The Event draws a rabidly loyal audience that comes back week after week.
Part conspiracy drama, part family saga, and part sci-fi mystery, the series stars Jason Ritter, Blair Underwood, Laura Innes and Zeljko Ivanek.
Executive producer Steve Stark recently sat down with Mediaweek’s Alan Frutkin to talk about the show, premiering Sept. 20.
