Lifetime’s Army Wives reported for its third tour of duty Sunday night (June 7), delivering 3.48 million total viewers in the 10 p.m. time slot.

While the premiere was down slightly (8 percent) from Army Wives’ sophomore-season run of 3.78 million viewers, it will be interesting to see how the show’s numbers will look once DVR playback is factored into the ratings equation. For example, last year’s season opener drew 4.5 million viewers, according to Nielsen fast nationals; upon application of the live-plus-seven-day data, that number leapt to 5.12
