What’s the first information you consume in the morning?

I look up fantasy football stuff on the ESPN and CBS apps. I have a league in each one, so I check on my team, l look up whether anybody is hurt or if there’s any news about certain players, just kind of try to see what’s going on in the football world. Both of those apps have pretty good weekly add/drops and put up different articles about who might be a good player that week.

What are your go-to social media platforms, and who do you follow?

I’m on Twitter. I follow Mario Lopez; he’s a Chula Vista guy. We’re from the same area and have a lot of similarities in our upbringing. I also follow the San Diego Chargers because I’m a fan; I follow my church, The Rock, in San Diego; I follow the Major League Baseball Players’ Association; and I follow Padres Contra El Cancer, an organization that I’m an ambassador for, at @IAmHope.

What’s your favorite app?

I’ve been playing a lot of rummy on my phone. I also use the Miles a Minute app; Miles McPherson, the pastor of the church that we go to, sends a devotional every day. Lately, Uber has been a big one, too.

What TV shows do you watch?

Right now, the No. 1 TV show in our house is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the No. 2 is Dora the Explorer. I’ve got a 3-year-old and a 1-year- old, so basically all the TV we’re watching right now is kids’ stuff. My wife and I started watching Nashville; I think we got through the first season and a half. I also enjoy watching the sports shows on HBO, and whenever there’s a boxing match, I’ll watch it.

What’s on your reading list?

Most of the books that I read are Christian, religious books. I’m reading one that’s called Devotional Classics, and I read the Bible a lot. When I’m at magazine stands, the sports weeklies always attract my attention. My wife will pick up In Touch or People magazine. I like doing the crossword puzzles in those, though.

What music have you been listening to lately?

Usually, we listen to anything Mexican or Spanish from reggaeton to pop to ranchera. In English, we’ll listen to either Christian gospel or country music. We like Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, MercyMe, Vicente Fernández. My wife loves Carrie Underwood. When I’m driving, I usually listen to La Mezcla [on SiriusXM], which is a mix of American and Spanish pop.

How do you wind down before bed?

My 3-year-old is really big into watching YouTube videos— things like How to Play With Play- Doh or Barney episodes—so she’ll get into bed to watch that, and we’ll put on some soft, spa-type music to try to get the girls to go to sleep, and that helps us wind down.
