After months of speculation, Katie Couric has signed a multiyear, multiplatform agreement with the Disney/ABC Television Group to host and produce her own nationally syndicated talk show. Couric, in addition, will join the ABC News team, contributing to all programs and platforms. The former Today Show co-host and CBS Evening News anchor will be reunited with Jeff Zucker, who will be executive producer of Couric’s untitled talker, which will be distributed by Disney/ABC Domestic Television.
