History’s Vikings Will Debut Its Final 10 Episodes on Amazon Prime Video Instead

The drama’s conclusion begins streaming Dec. 30, and will also air next year on the cable network

For seven years, the drama Vikings has been one of History’s biggest shows, and the cable network’s most successful foray into the scripted series space.

History had split Vikings sixth and final season into two parts, with Season 6’s first 10 episodes wrapping earlier this year. But in a surprise move, the show’s final 10 episodes will be premiering not on the linear cable network, but on Amazon Prime Video. Those last episodes will begin streaming during the final half season on Dec.
