Gay TV Now: Q&A With ‘Glee’ Creator Ryan Murphy

Fox’s Glee is, by far, last season’s biggest hit. In its return this fall, the show has logged impressive ratings, drawing 12.5 million viewers in its season premiere on Sept. 21, and more than 13.5 million viewers the following week.
Of course, the man behind Glee is Ryan Murphy, who sat down with Mediaweek’s Alan Frutkin to talk about the show’s impact on its gay viewers and his own commitment to gay kids. (This is also the 12th installment of Mediaweek’s groundbreaking miniseries Gay TV Now. To view all the other GTVN episodes, click here.)
