All customers will soon be able to access free movies and television shows using the Xfinity X1 platform as Comcast looks to grow its offerings and partnerships for viewers.
Comcast partnered with Tubi, a free, ad-supported streaming service, to make more than 8,500 movies and TV titles seamlessly available on the X1 platform to all users by the end of next week. For Tubi, a company that aims to make content available for all consumers, the partnership was an “obvious next step,” said Farhad Massoudi, founder and CEO of Tubi, Inc.
