Fox Will Premiere All 16 of Its Fall Series During a 1-Week Blitz

September rollout includes Exorcist, Lethal Weapon reboots

'Tis the season for fall premiere dates. NBC released its plans yesterday, and now Fox has announced when its new and returning shows will debut this fall.

While most networks save at least one or two shows to premiere in October or November, Fox is debuting all of its fall shows during a single week: beginning Sept. 19, the official start of the 2016-17 season.

During those seven days, Fox will roll out all 16 of its new and returning series. Its new shows include baseball drama Pitch, movie adaptations Lethal Weapon and The Exorcist, and live-action/animated hybrid comedy Son of Zorn. (Trailers for Fox's new shows can be found here.)

While buyers reacted enthusiastically to all of Fox's new shows during last month's upfront presentation, Lethal Weapon is primed to have the biggest debut of Fox's four new shows, as it is paired with Empire, the top-rated broadcast drama in the 18-49 demo.
