Football Fans: We'll Be Back

Poll shows viewers will watch whenever football on

It takes a lot to pry Americans away from their football. When Adweek/Harris Interactive asked what impact a labor lockout would have on their viewing of the sport once it returned, nearly 70 percent said it would have no impact at all.

The real loyalists were the close to one-in-twenty who said a lockout would make them more likely to watch once the games are back. At least they had a definite answer. Some 10 percent of respondents to the poll said that they were "Not at all sure" what impact a lockout would have on their football viewing.

When NFL comes back after a lockout, are you more or less likely to watch? % of respondents
No change 67
Less likely 19
More likely 4
