Fisher Names Spragins to Head Interactive Net

Matt Spragins, a former exec with RealNetworks has joined Fisher Communications as vp and general manager of Fisher Interactive Network, the division created by Fisher in 2006 to bring the company’s online assets together in an integrated platform.

In his new position, Spragins will be responsible for implementing the radio and TV owner’s broadcast-to-broadband initiative across Fisher’s network of station Web sites, 125 hyperlocal community Web sites, and mobile platforms.

Since 2006 Spragins served as senior director of product management for RealNetworks.
