Estrella TV, Liberman Broadcasting’s new Spanish-language TV network, announced Monday (April 6) it has signed an affiliate agreement with Sunbeam Television, owner of WSVN, the Fox affiliate in Miami, the third-largest Hispanic market.
When the network launches in third quarter, WSVN will clear Estrella TV on its multicast channel, 7.2.
The deal gives Estrella TV its fifth affiliate, reaching 48 percent of Hispanic TV households.
Recently, Estrella TV purchased WASA-TV, to gain entrance into the New York market.
