ESPN, HuffPo Chicago Sites Strike Deal

ESPNChicago.com, ESPN’s recently launched, locally branded Web site, and The Huffington Post Chicago signed an exclusive content syndication agreement, the sites announced Monday (June 22).

The agreement calls for HuffPost Chicago to provide ESPNChicago.com with news headlines and blog posts and for ESPNChicago.com to be the exclusive provider of sports content to HuffPost Chicago.

“Politics, news and sports play a unique role in the identity of Chicago,” said Marc Horine, vp of digital partnerships and sales development for ESPN.
