Disney’s new marketing maven has recruited an industry-savvy lieutenant.

Kevin Campbell, a former marketing exec at Fox and Universal, was named evp, marketing at Disney. He will report to marketing president M.T. Carney, a consumer-brands expert named to Disney’s top film marketing post in April.

Campbell’s chief responsibility will be to oversee the marketing of DreamWorks movies distributed under Disney’s Touchstone label. Campbell will collaborate with DreamWorks’ marketing execs on the campaigns.

“Kevin has a tremendous portfolio of work in the film industry and will bring a wealth of experience to our already impressive team,” Carney said.
