David Levy Named President of Turner Broadcasting System

Exec will retain oversight of sports, sales

Turner Sports boss and advertising/affiliate sales president David Levy on Monday was promoted to the role of president of the entire Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. operation.

In his new role, Levy adds oversight of Turner’s domestic entertainment and animation & young adults networks and business portfolios to his current duties. Based in New York, Levy reports to outgoing chairman and CEO Kent.

In addition to overseeing all of Turner’s domestic revenue, Levy now calls the shots for all creative and business aspects of TBS, TNT, Turner Classic Movies, truTV, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Adult Swim, as well as their respective digital extensions.
