Following in the footsteps of Steve Carell (The Office)–not to mention Ed Helms (also of The Office) and Rob Corddry (Fox’s The Winner)–two more Daily Show alums are set to make the leap from cable to broadcast comedy.
Samantha Bee and Jason Jones, who are correspondents on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and married in real life, have signed on with CBS Paramount Network TV to write and star in a comedy for CBS. The untitled project reportedly revolves around a celebrity chef (Jones) and the women who manage his business (Bee will play one of those roles).
