CBS to Win First February Sweeps Since 1998

Meanwhile, NBC falls to fifth place behind Univision

With just two nights remaining in the period, CBS is on track to win its first February sweeps in 15 years.

Per Nielsen live-plus-same-day ratings for the period spanning Jan. 31 through Feb. 24, CBS is averaging a robust 4.3 among adults 18-49, marking a 54 percent increase from a 2.8 in last February’s sweeps. The Tiffany network is also running away with the race for adults 25-54, averaging a 5.2 in its guaranteed demo.

Thanks in large part to its broadcast of Super Bowl XLVII and the 2013 Grammy Awards, CBS has dominated sweeps, more than doubling the deliveries of its nearest competitor.
