CBS Talker to Replace 'As the World Turns'

CBS will replace departing daytime serial As the World Turns, which debuted on the network in 1956, with a new daytime talk show co-hosted by Early Show/Big Brother personality Julie Chen, Celebrity Apprentice runner-up Holly Robinson Peete, Sharon Osbourne, former King of Queens star Leah Remini, Tony Award winner Marissa Jaret Winokur and former Roseanne star Sara Gilbert, who developed the hour and also serves as executive producer.

The six women, who are mothers to children ranging in age from infant to adult, will focus on stories of parenting, everyday life and events in the headlines.
