CBS Radio to Promote Adam Carolla Podcast

Adam Carolla is returning to CBS Radio, this time in a digital deal with the group to promote and market Carolla’s popular podcast. The online partnership, announced Wednesday (Sept. 16) calls for CBS Radio to promote The Adam Carolla Podcast, across CBS Radio’s portfolio of radio station Web sites with direct links to Carolla’s dedicated site. Carolla will also get his own digital radio station, K-ACE, streamed via CBS Radio’s digital platform on Yahoo Music Radio, AOL Radio and on select mobile devices such as the iPhone and Blackberry.

CBS Radio will handle ad sales for the podcast offering pre-roll, in-stream audio and live-read inventory.

Carolla began his podcast in February when his on-air radio show with CBS Radio concluded. Since then, The Adam Carolla Podcast reaches more than 130,000 listeners per show and ranks among the top 10 of iTunes podcast chart.

“This distinctive partnership showcases CBS Radio’s commitment to growth in the digital space and highlights the accessibility, portability and cutting edge programming available on radio,” said Chris Oliviero, vp of programming for CBS Radio.
