CBS, Emmis Radio Cut Staff

Reacting to the economic downturn, Emmis Radio cut more than 30 people nationally and instituted pay cuts for other employees.

Emmis isn’t the only radio group to institute cost savings. In third quarter, CBS Radio cut 300 jobs for a total of 400 layoffs since the beginning of the year, the company confirmed in its third quarter earnings call last week.
