Berlanti Reups With ABC Studios

Greg Berlanti is continuing his relationship with ABC Studios, signing a new five-year deal with the Disney-owned content supplier. The deal–reportedly worth upwards of $10 million–puts the writer/producer in an elite field of colleagues including J.J. Abrams and Seth McFarlane.

Berlanti left Warner Bros. TV for ABC Studios (formely Touchstone TV) in 2006, where he was put to work almost immediately as an executive producer on ABC’s then-fledgling drama Brothers and Sisters. Last season, he helped shepherd writer Craig Wright’s Dirty Sexy Money.
