ReadWriteWeb said the patent, U.S. Patent No. 8,225,376, is a minor one that was originally rejected for being obvious.
The patent, “Dynamically Generating a Privacy Summary,” is described in its abstract, as reported by ReadWriteWeb, as:
A profile for a user is generated. One or more privacy setting selections are received from the user associated with the profile.
