YouTube Tries to Take Care of Its Creators

The addition of live streaming to its mobile application was YouTube’s big news from VidCon in Anaheim, Calif., but the Google-owned video site made several other announcements.
Vice president of operations Sebastien Missoffe announced in a blog post that YouTube has:
- Increased creator support by 100 times so that every creator that joins YouTube’s Partner Program can receive answers via email from “a real person.”
- Revamped its Creator Hub, which is available in 23 languages.
- Launched multilevel benefits program YouTube for Creators, which provides benefits at zero, 1,000 and 10,000 subscribers.
