WhatsApp Now Lets You Send, Receive GIFs on iOS

WhatsApp launched the latest version of its messaging app on iOS, which now allows users to send and receive GIFs.

WhatsApp launched the latest version of its messaging application on iOS, which now allows users to send and receive GIFs.

As reported by The Next Web, the app now allows users to search Giphy‘s GIF library to find GIFs to send, and users can edit GIFs with text, stickers and drawings before sending them. In addition, The Next Web reported that users can trim video clips to the desired lengths.

Elsewhere, users can now turn videos that are six seconds in length or shorter into GIFs, which can be sent to others within the app.
