Washington state may have taken the first step, as the government will soon allow Evergreen State residents to register to vote in this year's election.

Washington state may have taken the first step, as the government will soon allow Evergreen State residents to register to vote in this year’s election.
In an effort to reach out to more voters, Washington Secretary of State Sam Reed announced recently that residents can register to vote through the state’s election Facebook page, according to The National Journal.
