UK's Channel 4 Launches New Tablet App for Paralympics
The recently ended Olympics may have gotten most of the press attention in the past couple months, but that wasn’t the only sporting event going on at the time. Channel 4, one of the main tv networks in the UK, has been covering the Paralympics extensively and today released a new app.
This app is designed to work on Android tablets, not smaller screens. It’s free and requires Android 3.0 or above. It offers the same mix of photo galleries, live streaming, video highlights, news, commentary, and athlete profiles which can be found on the original app plus it makes better use of screen real estate.
