New Twitter Notifications Recommend Accounts And Tweets To Follow
To help keep users ever more in-the-know, Twitter has rolled out a new mobile notification that offers personalized recommendations for accounts to follow and tweets to check out.
The new feature, available for Twitter for Android and Twitter for iPhone users via push notification, builds on experimental Twitter account @MagicRecs, which sends instant, personalized recommendations for users via DM.
In a blog post announcing the new notifications, Twitter’s Venu Satuluri, Sr. Software Engineer of Search & Relevance, wrote,
“If you’re like me, you occasionally feel like you’re missing out on some of the day’s great Tweets, or that you’re the last to find out when someone awesome joins Twitter.
