The National Football League and Twitter announced a multiyear extension to their existing partnership.

The league and the social network first became partners in 2013, when they reached an agreement to bring video clips (including instant replays and in-game highlights) and other multimedia and content from the NFL to Twitter.

The two parties extended and expanded their pact in 2014.

The new agreement includes in-game highlights, from the preseason straight through to Super Bowl 50, as well as:

  • Breaking news and analysis.
