The revolving door at Twitter has made its way to the top levels of management, as chief operating officer Adam Bain announced that he is stepping down to “explore opportunities outside of the company.”

The revolving door at Twitter has made its way to the top levels of management, as chief operating officer Adam Bain announced that he is stepping down to “explore opportunities outside of the company.”

Chief financial officer Anthony Noto (pictured) will shift into the COO role at the social network, and Twitter said Noto will keep managing its live content business and take over revenue-generating segments including global ad sales, data, revenue products and mobile ad exchange MoPub, as well as global partnerships and business development.
