The 2013 edition of the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing will feature a special guest speaker: Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg.
The social network announced Sandberg’s appearance in a post on the Facebook Engineering page.
The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing will be held in Minneapolis Oct. 2 through 5, and this year’s theme is, “Think Big. Drive Forward.”
Women studying computer science or other technical majors can apply for one of 25 Facebook Grace Hopper Scholarships until Sunday.
