Sesame Street Releases Flappy Bert Featuring Bert Carried by a Bird
Discontinued mobile game Flappy Bird is getting a lot of cloning action, but this is the first involving a classic children’s television character. Created by Sesame Workshop, the webgame Flappy Bert is free to play – there’s one single ad at the top.
The difference between this version and the original Flappy Bird inspiration is this bird is carrying Bert through the series of pipes. Each time Bert hits the pipe and “dies” he yells out Ernie.
