Pinterest Tops 150 Million Monthly Active Users

Pinterest announced Thursday that it has surpassed 150 million monthly active users, growing its total by some 50 percent year-over-year.

The social network also shared the following statistics in an email to SocialTimes:

80 million of those 150 million MAUs are from outside of the U.S.
75 percent of its signups are from outside of the U.S.
40 percent of its signups globally are men, with that gender growing at 70 percent year-over-year.
The number of Pins saved by men is growing at 80 percent year-over-year, and the number of men actively searching on Pinterest is up 55 percent over the same time period.
