Photo sharing service Imgur launches iOS app as part of growing mobile push

Photo sharing platform Imgur has finally launched its own iOS app, giving users a client for easily uploading, browsing and sharing images across their favorite websites. The app is a fully featured version of the desktop Imgur experience, containing everything users would expect from the service.

The Imgur app allows for image browsing, as users can browse the most popular images and memes on the web. Memes are most easily described as viral internet jokes or anecdotes, and are a major part of Imgur’s past success and culture.
