Pac-12 Networks Is the Latest to Ink Twitter Livestreaming Pact
Another day, another live-streaming deal for Twitter, this time with Pac-12 Networks, the broadcast arm of college sports’ Pac-12 Conference.
Another day, another livestreaming deal for Twitter, this time with Pac-12 Networks, the broadcast arm of college sports’ Pac-12 Conference.
The conference announced that Twitter will be the “premier streaming partner” for its Pac-12 Plus broadband network, which will feature more than 150 live games throughout the 2016-17 academic year in sports including soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, baseball, ice hockey, swimming, diving, softball, track and field, wrestling, lacrosse, tennis and water polo.
The live events will be produced by the Pac-12 universities and they will also be streamed on those universities’ sites and the Pac-12 site.
