'National Geographic' Dominates Publishers in October in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram Actions

National Geographic blew away the competition in October according to the latest rankings of publishers’ actions generated on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by social media benchmarking and audience engagement analysis company Shareablee.

The total of 67.812 million actions generated for October by National Geographic dwarfed the 13.258 million produced by second-place finisher The Huffington Post, according to Shareablee, which also found that:

  • Billboard posted the largest month-to-month growth among the top 10 on Shareablee’s list, at 30 percent, followed by Entertainment Weekly (26 percent).
