Unlikely, But Did Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.10 Kill My Acer Aspire One Battery?

I should have tested this idea by reinstalling the odd Linux variant Acer shipped with the Aspire One or even Windows XP. But, I was, honestly, too busy to deal with it at the time. So, my Aspire One has been sitting around essentially useless since mid-December.

Intel’s Moblin didn’t interest me.
