The social network selected 15 posts, mixing in content from friends and pages, and asked users:

How much do you agree with this statement? This post feels like an ad.

  • Strongly disagree.
  • Disagree.
  • Neither agree nor disagree.
  • Agree.
  • Strongly agree.

The posts used as examples by Facebook in this writer’s survey were odd choices, as they were either obvious ads or posts by friends that didn’t resemble ads in the least.
