Facebook expanded upon the localization capabilities it announced for application developers last month, adding the ability to upload localized icons, banners, and screenshots.

Facebook expanded upon the localization capabilities it announced for application developers last month, adding the ability to upload localized icons, banners, and screenshots.

In July, the social network added a localize tab to its app dashboard, allowing developers to provide translations of their apps’ names, taglines, and descriptions for use in the app center and across Facebook.

Facebook described the new options in a post on its developer blog:

Last month, we introduced new localization functionality that lets you translate your app’s name, tagline, description, and detailed description.
