LIVESTRONG Fundraiser Taps Into Facebook
If you start seeing the number 28 sprouting on profile pics on Facebook, don’t worry. Your friends haven’t joined some bizarre cult, they’re taking part in a fundraiser for the LIVESTRONG Foundation.
RadioShack will donate $1 for every person who updates their Facebook or Twitter profile image on Saturday to support the 28 million people fighting cancer. On Facebook, visit the RadioShack page and click on the “Team 28” tab. Once you give permission for the application to access your information, it will add the 28 image to your profile picture.
