Is the silver screen next for Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg? Deadline Hollywood reported that Sony Pictures pre-emptively acquired the film rights to Sandberg’s book, Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead.
According to Deadline Hollywood, veteran television writer and director Nell Scovell, who worked on the book with Sandberg, will write the script for the film, which will be a narrative film based on themes in Lean In, and not a biography of Sandberg.
