John Lewis Stores Selling Kindles In The UK
Amazon’s Kindle is now available for sale at John Lewis retail chain in the UK. John Lewis is selling the Kindle Wi-Fi for £109 and the Kindle 3G + Wi-Fi for £149. These are the same prices that Amazon UK charges on its website.
According to the John Lewis website, the Kindles are not available online, but are available in local stores.
Selling the eReaders in stores is likely a strategy to help sell more Kindles as holiday gifts.
