Job Seekers Can Now Apply with LinkedIn
LinkedIn users have long used the professional networking site to tout their credentials, network, and search for employment opportunities. Thanks to a new plug-in, which debuted Monday, they can now apply for jobs directly via LinkedIn.
LinkedIn users have long used the professional networking site to tout their credentials, network, and search for employment opportunities. Thanks to a new plug-in, which debuted Monday, they can now apply for jobs directly via LinkedIn.
Companies can add the Apply with LinkedIn button to their websites, and several already have, according to LinkedIn, including LinkedIn itself, Netflix, LivingSocial, Photobucket, Concur subsidiary TripIt, Foodspotting, GazeHawk, Munch on Me, and Formative Labs.
Users can then apply directly via LinkedIn, with the option of editing their profiles before clicking the Submit Application button.
Online job-application providers Taleo, Lumesse, and Kenexa also announced that they will implement Apply with LinkedIn by year-end.
