Japanese Messaging App Sells Over $10 Million in Emoticons Stickers Each Month

With over 230 million registered users, Japanese free messaging app, Line, is poised to make large profits from its emoticon stickers sales. In a recent announcement, the company revealed that it sold 1 billion emoticon stickers as of this month. That’s one sticker for every 7 messages sent. This makes for an impressive earning of about 9.77 billion yen.

In other words, the company is selling approximately $10 million USD worth of stickers each month. Here’s what they are selling:
