Facebook-owned photo-sharing network Instagram released updates Thursday to its applications for both iOS and Android.

Instagram did not detail information about the changes, but Mashable reported that the updated apps for both operating systems now include sound, as well as data-usage controls, and the Android version also added the automatic straightening feature, which became part of the iOS app in August.

Mashable reported that users can choose to mute the sound from Video on Instagram or tie it into the settings for their ringers (if their ringers are on, sounds will play, and vice versa).

As for the data-usage controls, users can choose whether or not to pre-load videos automatically, or only when connected to Wi-Fi, according to Mashable.
