Instagram is quietly rolling out an update that displays the exact dates of posts, rather than the number of weeks it has been since the photos or videos were posted.
Mashable reported on the update, adding that the Web version of Instagram displayed exact dates until late last year.
The screenshots below, by Raymond Wong of Mashable, show the Android version of the Instagram application on the left, with the number of weeks since the post, and the iOS app on the right, with the exact date of the post.
