If you’re still trying to figure out what you want to go as for Halloween this year, there’s no better place to look for inspiration than the Internet. Nyan Cat Nyan Cat is one of the most popular and recognizable memes of the year and, if you can manage to pull it off, it makes a great costume for you (or your cat!). Why not go as Charlie Sheen? Google+ Circles Here’s a fun group costume idea for ya—Google Plus circles! Grab a hula-hoop and a few friends. You can all stand inside the hula-hoop and walk around together in the same circle. Be sure to give your circle a fun name! What could be really fun is to get a huge group of friends together to make a few different Circles and the people in each circle can dress up in the "theme" of their circle name. Get creative with it! Old Spice Guy And Fabio Old Spice’s summer campaign, Mano A Mano In El Baño, could make a fun costume for two friends. The campaign pinned Old Spice Guy Isaiah Mustafa and Fabio against each other in a dual to determine who was the best Old Spice guy. Rebecca Black Rebecca Black was officially the most popular new "star" on YouTube this year and we’ve got a feeling she’ll be represented on Halloween too. If you want to be Rebecca Black for Halloween, dressing like her is not enough. You should also carry around your iPhone with the I Am T-Pain app so that when people ask who you are you can sing ‘Friday’ to them, in all of Rebecca Black’s auto-tuned glory. Ted Williams Remember Ted Williams, the homeless man with the golden voice that went viral and had his life changed back in January? He would make a pretty simple Halloween costume. Grab a camouflage jacket and a messy wig and, as a final touch, grab a piece of cardboard and write out Ted’s signature sign: "I have a God given gift of voice. I’m an ex-radio announcer who has fallen on hard times. Please! Any help will be greatly appreciated." Of course, it doesn’t hurt if you’ve got a great radio voice as well. Netflix Netflix has been going through some tough times lately, what with hiking their prices, splitting off their DVD-by-mail service into a separate service called Qwikster and then changing their mind about Qwikster. A lot of users have or are threatening to cancel their service and Netflix has taken quite a beating. So why not go as Netflix for Halloween? Wear all red or make a giant Netflix envelope out of poster board or paper and use makeup to give yourself a black eye. Hashtag Costume Critic Twitter lovers, this one’s for you! Go as a hashtag costume critic. Make a giant hashtag on your shirt and then bring along a collection of words that could be used to describe Halloween costumes (FAIL, Sexy, Cute, Funny, Scary, etc.) and stand next to people, displaying the appropriate word next to your hashtag. You’ll be the life of the party as everyone waits to see which hashtag you’ll tag them with, and it’s a great excuse for approaching people you might like to talk to. Notifications Speaking of great excuses to approach people—why not go as Facebook notifications? This one requires a bit of creativity on your part, but has big potential. Create a red notification bubble with the number 1 on it. Then, walk up to people to let them know they’ve got a notification. They can find out what the notification is by flipping the bubble around and reading what’s on the other side. You can prepare a variety of messages from "YOUR NAME Wants to be friends" to "YOUR NAME has poked you," "YOUR NAME likes your costume" and more. Sophia Grace Brownlee If you like princess costumes and you like to rap, then Sophia Grace Brownlee is the perfect thing to go as this Halloween. Sophia Grace Brownlee is the little 8-year old that went viral this month for rapping Super Bass by Nicki Minaj. Check out the video below. Mariachi Band And Beluga Whale Here’s another YouTube-inspired costume for ya—this one is great for a group (and especially a group of musicians). Why not go as the Mariachi band serenading a beluga whale? Three people go as the Mariachi band and one goes as the whale! Chuck Testa Chuck Testa the taxidermist went viral earlier this year, accruing nearly 6 million YouTube views for a video created by Rhett and Link as part of their ‘Commercial Kings’ TV series. Chuck Testa would make a great Halloween costume—just grab a green shirt and hat, some sunglasses, and a few taxidermized animals! Shouldn't be too hard to get your hands on those things, right? Planker There are always those lazy people out there that don’t feel like wearing a Halloween costume. If you’re one of the lazies, you’re in luck! This year you can go as a Planker! If anyone asks you what you are, just get down on the ground (or a table, counter, sink, step or anything) and start planking. Facebook Timeline If Facebook is your thing, why not go as the new Facebook Timeline? Yes, people have gone as Facebook profiles in the past, but this is the first year you can go as the new Facebook Timeline for Halloween! So grab some paperboard, and get creative!
