Google Integrates Drive with Gmail
Gmail users can insert files as large as 10 gigabytes stored in Google Drive into email messages, Google said today. Gmail limits files sent as attachments to 25 megabytes, a file size 400 times smaller than the Drive limit.

Drive files, formerly Google Docs, are stored in Google’s cloud. Users choose with whom they will share the files. If a Gmail user attempts to email a Drive file to someone who hasn’t been granted access to it, s/he will be prompted to change the file’s access settings without leaving Gmail.
Users can send Drive files by clicking the Drive triangular icon in the menu next to the paperclip used to represent attachments.
