UPDATED: Facebook Urges Users Who Like Pages To ‘Get Notifications’ When Those Pages Post

Facebook sought to pacify page administrators who were upset that a limited percentage of users who like their pages see all of their posts with last October’s introduction of the ability for users to get notifications each time those pages posted, and it now appears that the social network is pushing the feature even more. UPDATED: Facebook told sister blog Inside Facebook this was just a test, and it has now ended, with a spokesperson saying in an email, "It was a test to help people stay up to date with pages they’re interested in. We’re no longer testing it."
