Gangnam Style Hits 100 Million Views Faster Than Justin Bieber’s 'Baby'

Sometime late last night or early this morning, Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style,’ the wildly successful South Korean K-Pop video that has the word doing the “invisible horse” dance, racked up its 100 millionth view. Sometime late last night or early this morning, Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style,’ the wildly successful South Korean K-Pop video that has the word doing the “invisible horse” dance, racked up its 100 millionth view.  The video was uploaded to YouTube on July 15, meaning it took only about 51 days to hit the 100 million view mark.

Back in March, when KONY 2012 did the unthinkable and hit 100 million views in 6 days, Visible Measures released a chart of the top-performing videos of all time ranked according to how long it took them to reach 100 million views.

Gangnam Style is the most-viral video since KONY 2012, so it looks like it would fit on the Visible Measures list right above Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby,’ which hit 100 million views in 56 days.
